Guidelines for Students and Parents

 

About our Dance Company:
 

• Full Force Competitive Dance Company is a competitive team that competes throughout the year at both Regional and National Competitions. Typically, Full Force does 4 to 5 mandatory competitions a year, with 1 to 2 optional
  competitions. Competitions run primarily from January to May.
   

• Many factors are taken into account when choosing a company member. Maturity, focus, behavior and ability are
  just a few things considered. We take company members as young as 4 years old.

 

How to Become a Member
 

• Eligible candidates include anyone with a positive attitude who is energetic, driven, and committed with a passion
  for performing.
   

• Interested students must attend specified Summer Classes. We do not hold auditions. Students will be evaluated
  during this time and will be notified if they are chosen based on their performance.
   

• Specified fall classes are listed below. You may CLICK HERE to register for classes or click the 'Register
  Online Here' link on the left.
   

• If selected as an Full Force Dance Company Member, you will be required to attend an intensive for company members only. Company members will be evaluated at this time for placement in groups, trios, duets, and solos. Routines will be learned the following week at designated times given out during intensive week.  This year, our summer intensive will be held  MONDAY - THURSDAY,  AUGUST 15 - 18, 2011.    The fee for company week is $125.00.
   

• PLEASE NOTE: Students are placed on the team first and foremost by ABILITY and NOT AGE or YEARS OF DANCING. We are first and foremost a team.  Each student's participation in groups, trios, duets, and solos are at the sole discretion of Mrs. Jessica.  This applies to every student whether the student has danced for 6 minutes or 6 years.
   

• There is a significant amount of time and financial commitment that will be expected from all members. It is
  important that all parties understand the expectations before making a commitment to this team. Full team
  obligations will be explained at the Company meeting in August.

 

MINI COMPANY (Ages 5 and up) FALL CLASSES
Fee is $105 monthly

• Any Tap/Jazz Combo Class

• Thursday 7:00-7:30 Sassy Kids! Jazz Class

• Friday 5:30-6:30 Tumbling Class

DEMI COMPANY (Ages 7 and up) FALL CLASSES
Fee is $135 monthly

• Fee is $135 monthly
• Monday 7:30-8:30 Stretch and Strength
• Wednesday 5:30-6:30 Dancing Divas (Tap / Jazz / Lyrical)
• Wednesday 6:30-7:30 Hip Hop (optional)
• Wednesday 7:30-8:30 Ballet
• Friday 5:30-6:30 Gymnastics
